JPNDC and partner Causeway Development are thrilled to announce that in our new limited-equity homeownership project, 20 units will be reserved for applicants who would be the first in their US families to own their own home. Additionally, Two units will also include a preference for Section 8 voucher holders.
Why? The enormous racial wealth divide in our country is directly related to who owns a home and who doesn't. The children of owners, even if they are still renting (and struggling with high prices), have an automatic advantage over multigenerational renters because they can usually expect to inherit some of their parents' assets.
